Sutter East Bay Medical Group (SEBMG) is seeking an experienced, innovative, and collaborative Oncologist to serve as Executive Medical Director for Oncology, leading the Sutter East Bay Comprehensive Cancer Program.
As part of Sutter Health’s East Bay Division—one of six regional divisions within the not-for-profit, integrated Sutter Health system—this role offers an exceptional opportunity to build and shape a world-class, integrated oncology program. Sutter Health operates hospitals, clinics, and care centers across Northern and Central California, with a strong commitment to delivering coordinated, patient-centered care.
In November 2026, Sutter will open a state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer center in Oakland, co-branded with an NCI-designated academic medical center. Ahead of this milestone, the Executive Medical Director will play a critical role in leading strategic program development for this center and other key oncology centers in the East Bay.
