Opportunity Information

The Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist specializing in Glaucoma.

 

Sunnyvale, CA

 

Join a large and busy outpatient practice at the renowned Munnerlyn Eye Institute, a state-of-the-art medical center providing comprehensive vision care services including: general and pediatric ophthalmology, optometry, surgical/medical retina, cornea, lasik, oculoplasty, uveitis and glaucoma.

 

Surgical-based position focusing on glaucoma and cataracts with surgeries to be performed at the Peninsula Eye Surgery Center, a Sutter Health surgical center, with other minor surgeries performed onsite. 

 

Ability for rapid practice growth taking on existing patients while building through strong internal and external referral networks.

 

Full-time is 35 patient contact hours per week, average up to 30 patients per day.

 

Light call rotation; shared amongst large group of colleagues. No inpatient call is required.

 

Excellent clinical and administrative support with two technicians working with the Ophthalmologist per day.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology
