Sutter West Bay Medical Group has an opportunity for a BC/BE Neonatal Hospitalist to join a premier, integrated practice consisting of neonatologists, neonatal hospitalists and nurse practitioners in the San Francisco Bay Area. Location: Alta Bates Summitt Medical Center, Berkeley California
Opportunity Details:
As part of our integrated practice, you will provide care across two clinical sites.
Alta Bates Summitt Medical Center: 55 bed NICU level III NICU with over 4000 deliveries per year
Responsibilities include:
• Neonatal in-patient care including Small Baby Center, Neurocritical Care and includes attending deliveries, night coverage,
• Must be proficient in IV insertion, arterial and lumber puncture, bladder catheterization, needle and chest tube thoracotomy, intubation, and ventilation and jet ventilation management, UAC/UVC insertion.
• Transport services and high-risk perinatal navigation
• Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support via partnership with Stanford Children’s Hospital and UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland.
California Pacific Medical Center: Regional referral center 35-bed level III NICU.
Responsibilities include:
• Neonatal in-patient care, attending deliveries, night coverage supported by an in-house neonatal hospitalist team.
• Active well-baby service for newborn service
• Transport services and high-risk perinatal navigation
• Comprehensive pediatric subspecialty support and programs (small baby unit, neurocritical care, neonatal surgery) via partnership with Stanford Children’s Hospital
Primary location will be Alta Bates. Secondary locations are CPMC.
