Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a strategic, results-driven Human Resources (HR) Director to lead HR operations within a rapidly growing organization. The HR Director will work closely with executive leadership to align HR strategies with the organization’s goals, foster a culture of engagement, and drive operational effectiveness/efficiency. The position is integral in supporting the group’s expansion while ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a high-performance work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and business needs.
• Advise executive leadership on HR issues, including workforce planning, organizational development, and employee relations.
• Lead organizational change initiatives, aligning HR policies and processes with evolving business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends to enhance HR processes, ensuring best practices are adopted.
Talent Acquisition & Retention:
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent pipeline development for current and future organizational needs.
• Implement strategies to improve employee retention, focusing on performance management, career development, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure workforce planning supports organizational priorities and growth.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts.
• Implement programs to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.
• Ensure consistent and fair application of HR policies.
Compensation & Benefits:
• Participate in the review and development of compensation structures, ensuring competitiveness with industry standards.
• Support partnerships with 3rd party vendors to deliver cost-effective and comprehensive benefits offerings.
• Support total compensation strategies, including performance bonuses, incentives, and rewards.
Compliance, Risk Management and Policy:
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
• Lead HR audits, maintain accurate documentation, and mitigate legal risk.
• Address grievances, disciplinary actions, and workplace incidents in a timely manner.
• Lead all annual or regular reporting to federal and state agencies including CMS and Internal Revenue Service.
• Develops, maintains and ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures and ensures alignment with system policies and procedures.
Training & Development:
• Develop and implement training programs at all staff levels, focusing on leadership, compliance, and professional growth.
• Identify skill gaps and collaborate with leadership to implement development programs that foster continuous learning and career advancement.
HR Systems & Data Analytics:
• Lead the implementation and optimization of HR software to streamline HR operations and improve decision-making.
• Analyze HR metrics and present data-driven insights to leadership for continuous improvement of HR initiatives.
