Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) seeks to hire a passionate and skilled Medical Oncologist or Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our expanding team in Santa Rosa, CA.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-established, collaborative practice offering advanced care in a state-of-the-art facility. SMGR is a thriving, multi-specialty medical group located in the picturesque Sonoma County.

 

Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods is growing to meet the needs of cancer patients in the San Francisco Market, one of six market areas for Sutter Health. SMGR currently employs three medical oncologists and three APCs in our Santa Rosa-based cancer center. To better serve our community, we plan to add an additional medical oncologist to our Santa Rosa, CA team. This NCI-designated site integrates with our state-of-the-art infusion center and comprehensive cancer support department to form an all-inclusive care center for cancer patients. 

 

Position Overview:

 

As a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist, you will join a dynamic team of two full-time oncologists/hematologists and three experienced Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) in a busy, patient-centered environment. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive cancer care, integrating clinical trials, and offering cutting-edge treatment options to our community.

  • Full-time is 35 hours of patient contact time per week

Qualifications

  • Board certified in Medical Oncology (or Medical Oncology/Hematology)
  • Experience or interest in participating in cancer clinical trials and multidisciplinary tumor boards
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, community-based setting
